Herb butter goes great with so many things.  You can keep in on hand for breads, vegetable, meats anything really. I put some herb butter on top of some green beans and it was great!

 

Recipe:

Boil Heavily Salted Water

Add Green Beans and Cook until tender (depending on size anywhere from 2-6 minutes, very short you want them still crunchy)

Drain and Keep in ice water to stop cooking

Herb Butter:

For every 1/4 pound of butter use 1/4 bunch of herbs like parsley cilantro or chervil, 1-2 garlic cloves and 1/2 shallot, salt and pepper to taste

Blend all the ingredients in mortar and pestle or food processor, or by hand( make sure to chop garlic, shallot and herbs finely
